Business owners may be interested in phpMoneyBooks
Many of our LC2 users are probably business owners so I wanted to let everyone know about phpMoneyBooks. phpMoneyBooks is a FREE PHP/Mysql alternative to QuickBooks.
The layout and functions are very similar to QuickBooks so the learning curve would be minimal, but phpMoneyBooks is modular so add-on's can easily be created and plugged in to add more functionality.
A few modules that add features that QuickBooks doesn't have are:
- The client area mod that allows your clients to log in and check statements.
- The envelope printer that lets you easily print envelopes to go with your statements.
- The time sheet mod that lets employees track time and then an account level user can adjust and bill out from these sheets.

LC2 Pro Version 2.0.3.1
Another update to LC2 Pro. This one just gives the user some cosmetic configuration options such as options to hide some menu bar items and the status bar. Also a basic "Check for updates" menu item has been added.
Nothing major, but if you want some of these things then make sure to update today.
LC2 Pro updated
LC2 Pro updated to version 2.0.2.19. Mostly cosmetic changes. The next release will have some department count changes.
Server file updated
If LC2 is giving you a Yellow icon and an offline status when you are obviously online, then update your server file to version 2.5.4.
Updates in Crafty Syntax Live Help have required this update.

LC2 Vocal Sound Pack Fixed
The original sound pack was uploaded as .mp3's, but LC2 accepts .wav files. It was pointed out to me today and now I have uploaded the .wav files so that it will work correctly with LC2.

LC2 Pro
The coding is about complete for the initial release of LC2 Pro, with the main feature being a notification of new text from current chats. A popup will show with a optional sound showing what was said and who said it.
I haven't quite decided on a price (it will be very affordable) and I still need to create an interface to purchase LC2 Pro, but if any early adopters would like to try it out, I would be willing to give a few Key Codes out for $5 each. Just contact me if interested.
